Timberlake responded to a fan’s TikTok comment, which read, “Blink twice if *NSYNC is on a song called Paradise.” And the star indeed blinked.
Joey Fatone Reflects on Life After *NSYNC
*NSYNC was one of the most popular boy bands of the early 2000s. Although they never won a Grammy award they did score eight nominations. The group went their separate ways after concluding their Celebrity tour in 2002. Band member Joey Fatone says he is grateful that he didn’t have to “reinvent” himself.
“Well, thank God [the breakup] didn’t force me to [reinvent myself]. I wanted to. It wasn’t like, ‘Oh d—, I’m out of a job. What have I got to do? It was more or less, ‘Holy s—, these doors are opened. Let’s see if I can walk in. I may suck, but let’s find out,” Fatone said.
“I always wanted to do Broadway. Right after *NSYNC, I did Rent on Broadway. I did Little Shop of Horrors on Broadway. And then when I did Dancing With the Stars, people saw my personality,” he said, referencing his run on the ABC dancing competition series in 2007.
“People were like, ‘Oh, he’s not just a guy from *NSYNC. He’s actually a person that actually acts.’ It was interesting the path that I had to go through, but it was amazing.”
Justin Timberlake in Good Place Ahead of New Album
Timberlake is getting ready to release his sixth studio album titled “Everything I Thought It Was,” later this year. In preparation for the album’s release, he has scheduled a press run tour which includes stops at the Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon and Saturday Night Live.
Another source told Page Six that the pop star is perhaps in the best space of his career. They noted that he is feeling “reinvigorated” as he prepares for the album release.
“[Justin is] feeling reinvigorated and is doing what he loves, making the music he loves to create. He’s never felt better,” the source said. “[Justin is] healthy, rehearsing, and getting in shape. He’s excited and in a celebratory mood.”
