Jennifer Lopez took her emotions for a spin amid the Ben Affleck breakup rumors, catching some fresh air and maybe some clarity on Tuesday.
Page Six spotted the singer and actress on a drive with her longtime manager, Benny Medina.
Lopez pursed her lips while riding in the passenger seat, as paparazzi glimpsed the duo in Medina’s BMW convertible. Despite her attempt to hide her expression with oversized sunglasses, the displeasure on her face was still evident through the lenses.
The destination of the pair remains unknown, but Lopez’s husband, Ben Affleck, did not accompany them on their outing.
She was also spotted in West Hollywood Tuesday, still seeming forlorn.
The sighting occurred days after the pop star canceled her summer tour to focus on her personal life. This sudden announcement came amid reports that she and Affleck are headed for divorce.
On her website, onthejlo, a representative from Live Nation said that Lopez’s “THIS IS ME…LIVE” tour, originally scheduled to start in June and visit numerous North American venues through August, has been entirely canceled.
Live Nation also wrote that Lopez is “taking time off to be with her children, family and close friends.”
“I am completely heartsick and devastated about letting you down,” Lopez herself wrote on the website. “Please know that I wouldn’t do this if I didn’t feel that it was absolutely necessary.”
She concluded, “I promise I will make it up to you and we will all be together again. I love you all so much. Until next time…”
Ben Affleck and Jennifer Lopez’s Home is Reportedly on the Market
For the past month, Lopez and Affleck have faced divorce rumors following Ben’s decision to skip the Met Gala, where Jennifer served as one of the event’s co-chairs.
Affleck reportedly rented a house in Brentwood, California, while searching for a new home. Similarly, Lopez was considering buying a new house.
However, it’s rumored that she was primarily interested in acquiring an investment property. Meanwhile, their Beverly Hills home is reportedly on the market.
Neither Affleck nor Lopez has publicly addressed the speculation. However, Lopez firmly dismissed a reporter who risked her ire to inquire about it.
When recently asked about the rumors during a press tour for her new movie Atlas, Lopez responded to the reporter, “You know better than that.”
