Dr. Dre is regarded as one of the most legendary hip-hop producers ever. He has worked with iconic artists such as Eminem, 50 Cent, and Snoop Dogg. He also has a Grammy award named after him.

But even with all that he has accomplished, the music mogul is always hungry for more. Kurt Sutter, creator of the hit show Sons of Anarchy, recently revealed he almost cast the music producer for a role in a video segment for his podcast, Pie.
However, the role went to noted Sons of Anarchy actor, Rockmond Dunbar.
“We actually wanted Dre. I don’t know if we officially made an offer, but we wanted him,” Carr said. “We thought it would be cool to have Dre play a cop, for Roosevelt.”
Dr. Dre Suffered a Brain Aneurysm in 2021
Dr. Dre is fortunate to be alive. He suffered a brain aneurysm in 2021 which kept him in the hospital for two weeks. Dr. Dre recently revealed that during those two weeks in the hospital, he also had three strokes.
“It’s just something that you can’t control that just happens, and during those two weeks I had three strokes,” he said.
When the legendary producer woke up in the morning on the day he was hospitalized, everything appeared to be normal. Everything, except a feeling behind his ear that developed into “the worst pain.”
“I got up and I went on about my day, and I thought that I could just lie down and take a nap. My son had a female friend that was there and was like, ‘No, we need to take you to the hospital.’ So they took me to urgent care.”
Music Legend Receives Star on Walk of Fame
Dr. Dre is most known for starting the legendary rap group NWA. But he has carved out one of the greatest music careers ever. He has produced several classic rap albums.
On March 19, Dr. Dre was rewarded for his legendary career. He was recognized with a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame. And although he may arguably be the best producer ever, Dr. Dre says he still has a lot left in the tank.
“I’m incredibly grateful for your support throughout the years. Most of us have grown up together. And at nearly 60 years old, you’re still rocking with me, and I really appreciate that. Thank you so much. Which is really good, because I’m nowhere near done. You better believe there’s a lot more coming,” he said during the ceremony.
