Gypsy Rose Blanchard went under the knife that past Friday, and shared an image of herself after the nose job surgery. Blanchard recently told People that the procedure “went great.”
“I come in and out of sleep,” she told the outlet about her recovery. “I was in pain at first but I am on pain medicine.”
She explained breathing through her nose was hard “because of the packing but that comes off on the 10th.” The convicted murderer turned media personality is beyond excited to see the results of the cosmetic procedure. “I want to see it so bad!”, she gushed.
Gypsy Rose underwent her surgery in Lafayette, Louisiana, and was discharged around 1:30 p.m. on Friday. An image Gypsy Rose shared with TMZ of her bandaged face following the surgery made its way to X (formerly Twitter).
Gypsy Rose Teased a TV Series Documenting Her Cosmetic Surgery and Path After Prison
The budding reality TV star recently teased a new show documenting her life after her prison sentence for the second-degree murder of her mother.
“I’m going through a personal transformation journey currently and that includes a physical one, too,” Blanchard explained. “Wish me luck with my surgery and watch the whole thing this summer on Gypsy Rose: Life After Lock Up.”
Per Blanchard’s dear friend Nadiya Vizier, nose job surgery is a long-awaited desire of Gypsy Rose.”She said she’s a bit nervous, but she’s happy it’s going to be done,” Vizier told People. “The main thing is that she wanted a more feminine-looking nose. She just wants to fix it up and give it a more feminine look.”
Vizier feels that despite Gypsy Rose’s multiple documentaries profiling her personal life, the public needs to stay out of her way.
“My main message is to just, people need to let her live, “Vizier said. “If they know that she’s doing something good or wrong, let her experience that. Let her learn from it. I feel like in a way, people are still trying to control her.”
The surgery followed Blanchard’s recent announcement of her separation from her husband of almost two years, Ryan Anderson.
Since their split, Blanchard has been seen enjoying time with her former fiancé Ken Urker, with whom she recently got matching tattoos. However, Urker’s mother, Raina Williams, stressed that the seemingly romantic trip was strictly platonic.
“They are not back together,” Williams claimed. “They’re very cool. Ken is just being a supportive friend to her and that’s it.”
