Former NBA star Drew Gordon, brother of current Denver Nuggets player Aaron Gordon, has died. He was 33 years old.

Per TMZ, officials claim that Gordon crashed his three-wheel Vanderhall Carmel around 1 PM on Thursday, May 30. He collided with a GMC Sierra pickup truck and died at the scene. The driver of the pickup truck, 25, was taken to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

Former NBA Player Drew Gordon Dead at 33
Per officials, the accident occurred when Gordon’s vehicle crossed the center line and collided with the GMC pickup. Officials do not believe that impairment appeared to play a role in the accident.

Drew Gordon grew up in California and was a star athlete. He earned All-American honors at San Jose’s Archbishop Mitty High School. He would go on to play college basketball at UCLA and the University of New Mexico.
After playing pro ball in Europe, Gordon would make his NBA debut for the Philadelphia 76ers in November of 2014. He made nine appearances for the Sixers before transitioning to the G League and overseas. Gordon retired from basketball last year.
