“We can’t stop a deranged bigot from spewing hate-filled, ignorant bile… but we CAN stop giving him a megaphone, Mr. Musk,” David addressed Elon. “Kanye West has 32.7 million followers on your platform, X. That’s twice as many people than the number of Jews in existence.”
Schwimmer also stated that West’s “sick hate speech” results in “real life violence” against those who practice the Jewish faith.
“I don’t know what’s worse,” the American Crime Story actor continued. “The fact that he identifies as a Nazi (which implies he wants to exterminate ALL marginalized communities including his own) or the fact that there is not sufficient OUTRAGE to remove and ban him from all social media at this point.”
The actor went on to add, “Silence is complicity.”
West recently took to X to post a series of antisemitic comments. He declared that he didn’t trust any Jewish person and that he was racist. He further pointed out that he loved Hitler.
“I’m never apologizing for my Jewish comments,” West stated.
West has since deleted his posts, opting to post other antisemitic remarks and even adult content on his X account.
Elon Musk Was Recently Accused of Doing a Nazi Salute During President Trump’s Inauguration
David Schwimmer’s plea to Elon Musk comes just weeks after the billionaire was accused of performing the Nazi salute during President Donald Trump’s inauguration.
While on stage at the Capital One Arena, Musk appeared to make the infamous gesture to the cheering crowd.
“This is what victory feels like,” Musk stated as he slammed his fist on the podium. “This was no ordinary victory. This was a fork in the road of human civilization. This ― you know, there are elections, they come and go. There are elections; some are important, some are not. But this one, this one really mattered. I just want to say thank you for making it happen.”
He then made the gesture and declared, “My heart goes out to you. It is thanks to you that the future of civilization is assured.”
Musk performed the gesture one more time during his speech.
