SeaWorld opened a new Chick-fil-A in their Orlando location, and park goers are already balking at the prices.

It all started when theme park guru Ethan Hershaft posted a thread on X detailing his recent visit to the chicken sandwich fast food joint at the park. Hershaft gushed with enthusiasm, listing every detail he could think of.
“Lots of outdoor seating on both sides of the building!” he wrote on X alongside video and pictures of the new location. He detailed the interior as well as the outdoor pick-up window. Hershaft also confirmed that, like all Chick-fil-A locations, the SeaWorld edition would be closed on Sundays.

Excitement is high for SeaWorld fans over the new Chick-fil-A, and comments to Hershaft’s post reflected that.
“OMG It’s beautiful!” one park goer exclaimed in the replies. “This is what I was talking about!” another park fan echoed. “Awesome! I’m so excited to check it out,” a third fan offered.
Still, it wasn’t all praise…
Chick-fil-A Lover Left All Wet Over SeaWorld Location’s Prices
However, upon closer inspection… eagle eyed X denizens noticed something was afoot. Shockingly, the prices for the fast food items were higher inside the theme park than in a standard issue location.
“11 for just the sandwich,” one X user with the handle Just Jake pointed out. “Not the combo, just the sandwich,” he added, likely while opening his wallet and releasing a small cloud of dust.

“So $26ish for a meal that’s typically $13ish. Fun,” another jaded X user added.
Indeed, the prices are pretty extreme compared to the usual Chick-fil-A prices. The menu pictures showed a 5 piece chicken nugget meal costing $13.39, for instance.
Of course, it’s pretty standard for theme parks to have beyond the pale prices for their food offerings. Some X users were quick to defend paying 10 bucks for a milkshake.
“Yeah. Did you think it’d be the same price as outside?” one price savvy X user named Dave questioned. “No, but I didn’t expect a 30ct nugget to be $37, Dave. $1.23 a nug,” the flabbergasted SeaWorld goer shot back.
Meanwhile, Hershaft wrote a straightforward explanation for the price hike in the replies to his thread.
“They had to raise profits since they are splitting the revenue with SeaWorld,” he offered.
