In leaked hotel footage, Combs is seen grabbing, shoving, and kicking Ventura, who subsequently filed a lawsuit against him in November of last year. Ventura and the veteran rapper and mogul had been in a relationship for over a decade before she married Fine in 2019.
Fine posted a lengthy letter on Instagram, mentioning in the caption that he had written it “a while back.” He emphasized that the “words ring true not just today, but every day.” Additionally, the caption included a domestic violence hotline number.
“Men who hit women aren’t men,” Fine writes. “Men who enable it and protect those people aren’t men. As men, violence against women shouldn’t be inevitable. Check your brothers, your friends, and your family. Our daughters, sisters, mothers, and wives should feel protected and loved. Hold the women in your life with the [utmost] regard.”
Fine continues, “To the abusers, you’re done, you’re not safe anymore, you’re not protected anymore, the men by your side are just as weak, you’re so miserable with yourself that death would be considered a kindness.”
The Leaked Footage Aligns with Cassie Ventura’s Allegations Against Diddy
The leaked footage of the assault corroborates Ventura’s allegations regarding an incident at the InterContinental Hotel in Los Angeles, as detailed in her lawsuit.
Ventura claims that Combs paid the hotel $50,000 to obtain the video of the event. This accusation is among several grave charges Ventura has leveled against Combs in her suit, including rape and abuse.
Meanwhile, Ventura’s attorney has released a statement on the video.
“The gut-wrenching video has only further confirmed the disturbing and predatory behavior of Mr. Combs. Words cannot express the courage and fortitude that Ms. Ventura has shown in coming forward to bring this to light.”
That said, Combs has fervently denied the numerous allegations of sexual assault that have emerged over the past few months.
“For the last couple of weeks, I have sat silently and watched people try to assassinate my character, destroy my reputation and my legacy,” Diddy wrote late last year.
“Sickening allegations have been made against me by individuals looking for a quick payday. Let me be absolutely clear: I did not do any of the awful things being alleged. I will fight for my name, my family, and for the truth.”
