The Former Real Housewives of New York City star took to Instagram earlier this week to warn critics about the comments they made about her daughter. She then told them to “keep f—ing walking.”
“Some people think it’s their business how I parent and how my daughter dresses,” Bethenny Frankel continued. “I have the most beautiful, thoughtful, caring, loving, spiritual, sensitive, darling, loving, smart human being for a child, and that takes work.”
Frankel then said one of her fans had admittedly slapped someone for the comments they made about Bryn. “I have a group of women warrior cubs who will come to f— you up if you talk about my child,” Frankel stated. “She is nearly perfect, which is mostly, I’m sure, genetic, but I work very hard on it.”
Bethenny Frankel wrapped up her threat by adding, “You can criticize my looks, my career, my choices, my word, but the one thing you cannot criticize is my parenting. It is the most important thing to me. I cherish it, and I am on the case. I will come to your house, and I will f–k you up myself.”
The comments were quickly met with intense backlash. “You can love your daughter and protect her but let’s not assault someone that uses unkind words that’s insane to share on [your] platform. You shouldn’t condone violence ever.”
Another critic added, “’Come and f you up.’ What a shining example of a mother. Your daughter learned who not to be.”
With Criticism Comes Praise for Bethenny Frankel
Meanwhile, Bethenny Frankel’s followers were quickly to stand up for her as she continued to show her “mama bear” side.
“I have never related to anything more,” one follower wrote. “If you think I put decades of work and love and support into these babies to let someone chat sh*t about them and go unchallenged? No. Mum just entered the chat. Try me.”
Another follower understood where Bethenny Frankel was coming from. However, they didn’t agree with her approach. “Yeah, see I love my kids enough not to go to jail, how can I be a mother from jail. Never let people get you out of character.”
“You can defend and make a point without violence. Now, talk about harming my child, in action, etc., that’s different the gloves are off, to protect my child. But yeah, I’m not teaching my kids to slap someone over a comment….”
