TMZ and the New York Post reports that the incident happened on Thursday, Oct. 3, at a family fun center in China. Although it’s unclear what caused the WWE-style ball pit smackdown to start between the two moms, it seemed there was nothing else left to do but throw fists. Within a matter of seconds, the women made the situation as ugly as possible.
Originally, bystanders were holding onto the women but as the fight escalated, they were forced to let the duo go at it. Kicking, pushing, punching, and hair-pulling were involved.
Onlookers also appeared outside the ball pit and were yelling at the two moms. Unfortunately, one child was actually in the ball pit as the women were fighting, but thankfully, someone quickly pulled them out of the area.
The video cut as the women were angrily staring up at one bystander, with their bodies entangled. It was reported that the women were eventually separated. Details about what happened afterward remain unknown.
It didn’t take long for social media to share their reactions.
“I really thought there would be more martial arts,” one X user wrote. “ Cmon Asia, other than math that’s the coolest stereotype there is.”
Another X user added, “I wonder where their children were as they fought. Also, there were men there, but they seemed to prefer taking camera phone videos of the fight instead of intervening to stop it.”
Who Can Forget the 2017 Ball Pit Brawl?
This isn’t the first time that two Chinese moms have been involved in a ball pit brawl. In 2017, the Daily Mail reported a fight erupted in a children’s play area at Neijiang City’s Wanda Plaza.
At the time, the Wanda Plaza staff stated the fight started when two children disagreed in the Octonaut-themed ball pit area, which was themed after the British TV series Octonauts. Similar arguments have happened in dozens of family entertainment places. But this time, no one was letting this argument go without it getting physical.
After one of the children began to cry, the families of each child started yelling at each other. However, the fists didn’t begin to fly until one of the moms ended up with a ripped shirt.
As the hair-pulling, punching, and pushing kicked off, staff members attempted to separate the families. It took some time but eventually, the staff was able to put an end to the situation.
Neijiang City police were called as both families were held for investigation.
The entire ordeal was caught on camera and shared online. Further details about how that situation ended and if the families were penalized in any way for the fight remain unknown.
