During a recent interview with Gayle King for CBS Mornings, Stephen’s mother, Connie Boss Alexander, and his brother, Dre Rose, spoke about Holker’s memoir, which includes private journal entries written by the late star. They addressed Holker’s claims that she was left with a “financial mess” due to his drug addiction.
“I think people deserve the ability to share their story. I get that,” Dre explained. “But how it was presented and how it was on a cover of a magazine and there was a public, you know, launch or campaign about it, we shouldn’t have to find out about that…in the media. We’re a family.”
When King asked, “And that’s how you found out about it?” Dre replied, “Correct.”
King asked if Stephen’s mother and brother have “interest” in reading the memoir.
“I think so,” Connie said after a pause. “Just to feel closer to him, ’cause these are his thoughts. Maybe get a clearer understanding, you know, he’s my son. I know who he was and what he was thinking from time to time, so yeah, I think I would.”
Dre said, “I would love to see all of the journals in its entirety. I think those journals will tell you a lot. I think there’s things in those journals that are good and bad, but I also believe there’s journals about his personal life, his marital life that are in there.”
He pointed out, “I feel – believe that there’s been a cherry-picking of things from the journal to reveal or share. And if we’re just gonna be completely honest, talk about it all.”
Stephen “tWitch” Boss died by suicide in 2022.
Stephen “tWitch” Boss’ Family Were Allegedly “Furious” After They Were “Forced” to Sign NDA
A source came forward last month and told the Daily Mail that Stephen “tWitch” Boss’ family were “furious” over being forced to sign an NDA by his wife.
“tWitch’s family is preparing to fight back against Allison after she came out with those scathing allegations about him,” they explained. “The family disapproves what she’s said and will be speaking out about the untruths.”
The insider pointed out that the family did not get an “advanced copy” of the tell-all book. They had “to wait for the book to be released just like everyone else.”
“They don’t believe she’s telling the full truth,” the source continued. “And rather, that she has been misleading the public. The family is fired up and won’t be sitting back much longer, especially after what she put them through.”
