Assault accusations are very serious. And usually when celebs are alleged to have committed assault, their counterparts distance themselves from the accused because they are viewed as radioactive.
But Spacey notes that King Charles was one of the people who reached out to him amid the allegations.
King Charles Relayed Message of ‘Support’ to Kevin Spacey
When speaking to Morgan, Spacey spoke of the work that King Charles has done with the Prince’s Trust charity. The charity assists young people in building self-confidence and helping them find employment.
Morgan then asked if the King reached out to him when the news of his scandal broke. To which Spacey replied: “No, I haven’t heard from him directly, no.”
Morgan then asked if he had heard any messages from King Charles that were relayed through a third party. To which Spacey replied: “That might be true. I heard a message, yes, and I am very, very grateful for it.”
He later added that the message he received was a message of “support.”
Actor’s House Heading For Foreclosure
Spacey had appeared in several hit productions such as Horrible Bosses, House of Cards, and Austin Powers in Goldmember. But after the news of his sexual assault allegations was released, the famed actor has not been able to find work. It has gotten so severe that the home he bought to live in while filming House of Cards is set to hit the auction block.
“This week [the home] where I have been living in Baltimore is being foreclosed on. My house is being sold at auction. So I have to go back to Baltimore and put all of my things in storage,” Spacey said.
“I’m not quite sure where I’m going to live now, but I’ve been in Baltimore since we started shooting House of Cards,” he said.
