While performing his hit 2002 track Cry Me A River on stage at the Moody Center in Austin, Texas, Timberlake alerted security with hand motions that someone in the crowd was struggling.
After telling everyone to “put your hands up” to the song, Justin Timberlake grabbed the attention of nearby security team members by pointing to the fan needing help. He then stopped the entire performance.
“House lights up, thank you!” Timberlake declared on stage. “Sorry everybody one second… we need some assistance right here about five rows back.”
After getting the all-clear, Justin Timberlake said, “OK we’re OK!” before continuing the show. The entire ordeal was captured on video, which was posted on TikTok.

Eyewitnesses told TMZ that paramedics weren’t called to the scene. The struggling fan was also about to return to their seats later in the performance.
Justin Timberlake is currently on his Forget Tomorrow World Tour and his next stop will be in Forth Worth, Texas on Tuesday.
Justin Timberlake’s New Album and Tour Noticeably Struggle Following Britney Spears Allegations
Last month, industry insiders revealed Justin Timberlake lacked success with his new album and world tour.
Timberlake experienced some controversy when his ex Britney Spears opened up about their relationship, which included revealing he forced her to have an abortion. She also shared details about their infamous breakup.
Although the allegations made by Spears made headlines, the insiders believe the struggles stem from Timberlake waiting too long between albums.
“A six-year break from your mid-thirties to your early forties is a really long time [for an artist],” music journalist Touré of TheGrio told NewsNation. “Most of [Timberlake’s] fans have aged out of caring about him. It’s like the old saying goes, ‘You don’t retire – the audience retires you.’”
Justin Timberlake’s latest album Everything I Thought I Was made its debut earlier this year. It appeared initially at No. 19 on the Billboard Hot 100. However, the record ended up falling off the Billboard Hot 200 in just one month.
With the tour’s attendance struggles, Timberlake has been forced to cancel his June 8th performance in Columbia, South Carolina. Without revealing the key reason for the cancellation, Ticketmaster stated, “Unfortunately, the Event Organizer has had to cancel your event.”
Timberlake hasn’t canceled any other tour stops. The Tour will continue throughout the year. The tour’s last stop will be at the T-Mobile Center in Kansas City on Dec. 20.
