On the May 29th episode of the New Heights with Jason and Travis Kelce podcast, the former Eagles player revealed how he and his family spent their Memorial Day Weekend.
“We went to Sea Isle [New Jersey],” he said. “We had a great time.”
“We went to the beach, had a lot of fun with the girls, ate a lot of beach food,” Jason continued. “The shore was fun. It was good to be out there.”
He said all of this despite his wife, Kylie, getting into an altercation with an angry fan over the weekend.
“It was the first really big weekend out of the year,” Jason said. “All the businesses were open. Like we never left.”
Kylie Kelce Gets Into Viral Altercation With Angry and Demanding Fan
Despite the weekend of Kelce family delight down the shore, there was one instance that clearly didn’t make the “fun” memory list.
Kylie allegedly got into a screaming match with an angry fan on the street. Apparently, the fan was mad that Kylie politely declined to take a photo with the fan. The fan then began screaming at Kylie and Jason.
“You will never be allowed in this town again!” the woman yelled at Kyle, attempting to get in her face.
Of course, Kylie refused to back down as Jason simply watched his wife handle her own. The other woman’s husband stepped between the two women before the altercation could escalate further.
“DISGUSTING: A lady demanded a photo with #Eagles legend Jason Kelce and his wife Kylie, she politely said they were … on a date, and the CRAZY FAN WENT OFF ON THEM 😳😳😳,” an X user posted. “SO KYLIE GET IN HER FACE AND GAVE HER A LESSON ON MANNERS.”
One fan commented on the YouTube version of the podcast: “‘I am 6 foot tall, I am not skinny I will hold my ground’-Kylie Kelce Just a reminder to fans be respectful, kind and understanding. Boundaries people boundaries.”
“I saw Kylie’s viral video…and honestly, good for her,” another fan added. “People need to understand boundaries, they think they have a right to demand access simply because they are fans.”
