As the professional wrestling world continues to mourn the loss of Hulk Hogan, the WWE legend’s ex-wife, Linda, shared a touching tribute to him.

Days before Hulk’s sudden death, Linda shared a throwback snapshot of her and the famed wrestler on her Instagram. She released her statement in the comment section of the post.
“I had no idea he would pass this soon,” she wrote. “We all really thought he would make a come back! Big surprise. We are all devastated.”
Noting that Hulk Hogan’s death was hitting her hard, Linda wrote, “I loved Hulkster more than he loved me. It hurt when he cheated. But he was soooo famous. I sort of [understood] but it was crushing. It hurt.”
Linda then admitted that she never got over Hulk Hogan or started a relationship with anyone else because she missed him. “I’ve been weeping all day. The finality. It’s just shocking. We spent every minute together for so many years. I’ve known him since he was 28 yrs old! I was 22. I still love him.”
She further revealed that, although she and Hulk had not spoken or seen each other in a long time, their son, Nick, would give her updates about the wrestler’s life.
“I felt… although broke… we still were family,” she wrote. “It’s so hard to know he’s just gone. I tried to stay strong for Nick.. But I’m melting down now. It’s very sad.”
Linda went on to add, “I love you Hulkster. You were my man. The only man for me.”
The exes got married in 1983. Linda filed for divorce in 2007, citing irreconcilable differences.
Hulk Hogan passed away following a “cardiac arrest” incident at his Florida residence. He was 71 years old.
Linda Previously Defended Hulk Hogan, Stating He Was “Always a Good Father” To Their Children
Although she said that he was a “s—y husband,” Linda said Hulk Hogan was always a good father to their children, Brooke and Nick.
While speaking to TMZ about Brooke cutting her and Hulk out of her life, Linda shared how devoted the WWE legend was to being a father.
“[He] spent probably over $3 million on Brooke’s career, with no questions asked,” Linda claimed. “Our marriage didn’t work out, but what Brooke’s doing to us is completely unprecedented, unexpected, and unfair and not true.”
She then noted, “Hulk Hogan, my ex, has been really distraught and saddened by her distance, just as I and her brother, Nick, [are] as well.”
