Amanda Lehan-Canto, who is pregnant, and Shayne Topp host the comedy podcast SmoshM outh. Smosh, a production company with over 26 million YouTube subscribers, creates sketch comedy and improv content aimed at Gen Z audiences. Alongside Lehan-Canto and Topp, key creators include Anthony Padilla, Arasha Lalani, and Ian Hecox.

Lehan-Canto recently began her maternity leave, but not before announcing her temporary replacements: Angela Giarratana and Damien Haas, who are regulars on the channel. Apparently, it took two talents to replace Lehan-Canto, as Giarratana and Haas will join regular co-host Topp.
“I dunno a single person that is able to fully get along with him, it’s crazy,” Haas quipped in the announcement about working with Topp as Lehan-Canto is away.
Meanwhile, YouTube star Lehan-Canto said she was looking forward to “a lot of work, but different work,” after the arrival of her little one.
In April, Lehan-Canto announced her pregnancy on social media.
“Mother. Mama. Mãe. Мамуля. Mommmmmmy. Hey Ma!!!!!” the comedy show host wrote alongside the sweet shots, listing several ways to say mother.
Lehan-Canto posed solo for her first photo, rocking an orange-and-white button-down left open to show off her baby bump. The photo, taken indoors, captured the glowing mom-to-be with a big smile.
She tagged her boyfriend, Hardzei “HP” Perapechka, in the photos, where he appeared in two of the five images. The couple married in May of 2023.
Smosh Mouth Debuts New Host as Amanda Lehan-Canto is off on Maternity Leave
Meanwhile, the first episodes of Smosh Mouth with temporary hosts Giarratana and Haas have already dropped. Giarratana’s debut had no guests and focused mostly on herself with commentary from Topp.
Fans are loving the chemistry between Giarratana and Topp.
“This episode is Angela sharing unhinged life experiences and Shayne being concerned and saying, ‘Holy s— bro,'” one fan joked in the comments. “They don’t need a guest. I’m good with just the two of them talking. It travels all over the place and is entertaining on its own,” another fan wrote.
“I would do unspeakable things for Angela and Shayne to continue to do a podcast together long-term,” yet another fan gushed. “Their relationship dynamic is captivating, and their conversation was so engaging and fast-paced. I’ve never been more locked into a Smosh Mouth episode. This was perfect!’
On Tuesday, an episode with Topp, Giarratana, and Haas dropped titled “Try Not To Laugh: The Podcast w/ Angela & Damien.”
