Sean “Diddy” Combs has become an ongoing topic of conversation. And not for good reason.

Most recently he was under fire after CNN released a video of him attacking his former girlfriend and label artist, Cassie Ventura. Diddy received a myriad of backlash after the video was released. So he dropped an apology video a few days later, expressing regret for his actions.
“I was disgusted then when I did it. I’m disgusted now. I went and I sought out professional help. I got into going to therapy, going to rehab. Had to ask God for his mercy and grace. I’m so sorry. But I’m committed to being a better man every day. I’m not asking for forgiveness. I’m truly sorry.”
Indira Khan Goes Scorched Earth on Diddy
However, not many people were receptive to Diddy’s apology. One of those people is legendary singer Chaka Khan’s daughter, Indira Milini Khan. She says in light of all the drama Diddy is dealing with she is overjoyed to see it.
“These may be your dark days but I’m singing and dancing watching your demise @chakakhan isn’t it great Mom?” she said in the comments section of the apology video.
Indira also recalled an incident where Diddy disrespected her family. Which appears to be the reason she has such disdain for him.
“I’m glad this is happening to you. You got in my mother’s face and publicly disrespected her yelling and screaming like a lunatic,” she added.
Indira also noted that when her brother confronted Diddy about the incident he got his security team to assault him. Her brother was just 19 years old at the time.
“When my little brother tried to get you out of my mother’s face your security jumped my 19-year-old brother.”
Chaka Khan Gets Candid About Abuse
In light of Indira’s comments, Page Six reached out to Chaka Khan to get more clarity about what happened. She didn’t go into great detail about it, but instead, she talked about abuse and its impacts as a whole.
“In these troubling times, I’m reminded that the energies of violence and abuse can take many forms, affecting individuals and communities worldwide,” she said.
“As someone who has faced personal lessons, I believe in the power of meditation, prayer, and inner peace to bring light and hope to our lives and the world around us.”
