The Curry family is expanding their empire… again. Steph and Ayesha were already parents to three children. Two daughters, Riley and Ryan, and one son, Canon, whom they welcomed in 2018.

Well, Steph and Canon just evened the score in the Curry household. He and his wife, Ayesha announced the birth of their newborn son, Caius Chai, on May 11.
“Our sweet baby boy decided to make an early arrival!!” Steph wrote in an Instagram post on May 26. “He’s doing great and we are finally settling in at home as a family of 6! So grateful!”
Steph Curry Gets Candid on Fatherhood
Steph is now a four-time father along with being a four-time NBA champion. His last two kids have been boys but for a while he was classified as a ‘girl dad’ when his first two kids Riley and Ryan hit the scene. When speaking on being the father of two girls, Curry noted how special it is.
“Being a girl dad is just leaning into being present, being available, being a vision of how a man should treat a woman. I think, for us, we have to be that model,” Curry said.
“The smile on your daughter’s face when you walk in the house or when you pay attention to something that they’re interested in, it opens up a different side of you. It’s the best thing in the world.”
The Currys Are Godparents to Lindsay Lohan’s Son
Lindsay Lohan has starred in several Hollywood blockbusters such as The Parent Trap and Mean Girls. So obviously she has scored some of the top connections in the entertainment industry in her career. But what you may not know is that Curry and his wife Ayesha, are godparents to Lindsay’s son Luai.
During an appearance on The Tonight Show With Jimmy Fallon, the Mean Girls star explained how the connection happened.
‘Well, so, my husband knows Michael Mina, the chef, and we were in Dubai and Michael Mina kept saying to Bader, he was like,” You need to introduce Lindsay and Ayesha. I need them to meet.” So, she happened to be coming to Dubai, and we met and we just clicked, right off the bat,” Lindsay said.
“It’s so funny, ’cause like, when you get older in life, you don’t make, like, adult friends and friendships that grow so quickly.”
