The theme of the night was “no holds barred” at the roast of NFL legend Tom Brady on May 10. But nobody caught more heat than reality star Kim Kardashian. She was the subject of several harsh punchlines from the roasters.
But comedian Andrew Schulz who was part of the lineup of roasters said that Kim was “completely unaffected” by the shots aimed at her.
Andrew Schulz Gets Candid on Kim Kardashian
“She sat with perfect posture for three hours straight,” Schulz said of Kardashian. “Smiled, laughed. I’ve never seen anything like that. Completely unaffected.”
Kim was the target of choice on that night. And while most people would have folded in the situation, Kardashian appeared to take it like a champ.
Comedian Reveals Kardashian’s Raw Reaction to Roast
Comedian Nikki Glaser, who was also on the panel of roasters spoke to Kardashian after the roast. Per Glaser, she appeared to be in good spirits.
“She said you killed it on the roast,” Glaser claimed Kim said.
The comedian also gave the SKIMS founder her flowers.
“I wrote back, ‘Kim, OMG, I was trying to make eye contact with you every chance I could to mouth to you, ‘You f—ing killed it, girl,’ which was no surprise after your SNL monologue, which was elite,” Glaser added. “You are so talented. Thank you so much for writing to me.'”
Glaser said that Kim was receptive to the praise. Kardashian replied: “Aww thanks, and you killed it, I don’t know how you do this; it’s abuse, lol.”
Netflix Edits Out Kim K Getting Booed
During her stage time at Brady’s roast, Kim was greeted with a chorus of boos from the audience at the former L.A. Forum. According to TMZ, Netflix has already edited out the boos on the version of the roast that is currently on the platform.
“Kim Kardashian getting booed at Tom Brady’s roast came and went in the live broadcast. And you’re not gonna find it again in the current version on the platform … it’s been edited,” TMZ wrote.
“The awkward moment from Sunday’s show — where Kim was introduced by Kevin Hart, only to be met by a cascade of boos from the audience as she got to the podium — no longer exists on the since-posted iteration of the roast.”
