Haddish started the She Ready Foundation, which helps empower and support foster children. According to the foundation’s website:
“Tiffany Haddish knows all too well what it’s like to move from home to home in the middle of the night with all of her belongings packed in garbage bags feeling like the world has forgotten about her. That’s why she created the She Ready Foundation to empower, support, and encourage children living in the foster care system.
She Ready Foundation serves as the voice of foster children suffering in silence. Adapting the belief of its founder that, ‘Every child who is removed from their parents deserves to have a suitcase, a safe place to lay their head, and a platform to follow their dreams,’ the She Ready Foundation aspires to help make this happen through collaborative partnerships.”
Though the foundation’s mission is pure, many individuals were thrown off by Haddish’s recent commentary on her Live video.
“I could sell them drawers. That’s what I should do. I should sell them panties. That’ll be a lot of money for the foundation,” she joked. She then added that she needed to wash all her clothes, adding that she has so much clothing, she could likely “go six months without washing my clothes.”
“That’s how many pairs of underwear I got,” she continued. “I need to get rid of all that stuff.”
Tiffany Haddish Jokes About Selling Her Used Panties for Charity
Tiffany Haddish spoke in a Live about how she should sell her used panties to raise money for her foundation. She then backpedaled, mentioning how she should throw them away but not give them out for free.
“I should just throw them in the trash,” Haddish said. “I can’t just give it away for free, though. Never mind.”
While she was likely joking, many commenters on Page Six’s article shared their disgust toward her behavior.
“Why do some people have no filters, pride, or decency whatsoever?” one person commented. “Does she really think that by pandering to other sick individuals, she is actually doing something good for society in general? I realize she’s got a severe alcohol problem, but I think her illness goes even deeper than that.”
Another person wrote, “She needs help. I hope that someone well-meaning will reach out to her and convince her to stay off of social media.”
“No comments?” another person stated. “Most are prolly speechless…I know I was. She can go six months without having to wash clothes yet she wants to sell her underwear to support her foster child foundation? She’s not fit to be near children…..”
