Proving to be her Romeo, Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce share an adorable kiss while her hit track Love Story plays during the Kansas City Chiefs Super Bowl afterparty.
While attending the celebration, Kelce and Swift were seen dancing to the song. Swift was wearing the black sequin jacket Kelce was wearing as he walked into Allegiant Stadium hours before the Super Bowl kickoff.
In a separate video, Kelce was seen in a DJ booth dancing to Swift’s other hit track You Belong With Me.
Taylor Swift touched down in Las Vegas hours before Travis Kelce and his teammates took to the field to face off against the San Francisco 49ers.
During the game, Kelce had nine receptions for 93 yards. Despite him not scoring any touchdowns, the Chiefs had an overtime of 25-22. The Chiefs made history by becoming the first back-to-back champions since the New England Patriots in 2005.
Swift attended the game and sat with her family as well as Kelce’s family. She was also seen with friends Blake Lively, Ice Spice, RIOTUSA, Ashley Avignone, and Aric Jones.
Days before the Super Bowl, Travis Kelce revealed what he said to Taylor Swift. “I told her I’ll have to hold up my end of the bargain,” he said. “And bring home some hardware, too.”
The tight end was referencing Swift’s big wins at the 2024 Grammys.
Travis Kelce Reportedly Gave ‘Powerful’ Speech to Teammates Night Before Super Bowl LVIII
Although he didn’t get a chance to see Taylor Swift the night before Super Bowl LVIII, Travis Kelce did get a chance to spend time with his teammates and help motivate them with a “powerful” speech.
New York Post reports the tight end spoke to his teammates while at the hotel with Patrick Mahomes and Chris Jones. NFL Network’s Albert Breer reported the speeches made by the three players moved some of their teammates to tears.
Kelce’s comments were dubbed both “unbelievable” and “powerful.” CBS’ Tracy Wolfson also said Travis Kelce “hit it out of the park” with his speech.
“His speech was powerful, it was impactful. There was not a dry eye in the house and that this team is absolutely ready to go.”
Wolfson also said that Kelce’s speech was like a “WWE-type” speech. “That was the best and most emotional team meeting in years.”
NFL Network’s James Palmer shared he spoke to three Chiefs coaches about Travis Kelce’s speech. They reportedly said it was “the best speech” they had ever seen a play give in front of a team. “I’m getting chills just telling you about this speech,” one coach said.
Palmer then said a switch was turned and the emotion was “turned” into fire. “He was pounding his chest, going up and down the aisles between all of his teammates,” Palmer reported. “Talking about that fire alarm that’s getting a lot of attention this week how that was needed at all, how they’re ready for this game.”
