Ryan Seacrest and his girlfriend Aubrey Paige are officially calling it quits. The couple were together three years.
A source close to the couple confirmed that they have split. “After three beautiful years together, Ryan and Aubrey have mutually decided to part ways,” a source told People. However, they plan to stay friends. “They plan to stay in each other’s lives as good friends and support one another’s endeavors.”
Seacrest’s representative confirmed the split. Seacrest and Paige were private for most of their relationship. They were first spotted publicly in 2021 in the Hamptons. Later, they would attend a few public events together, keeping their relationship mostly behind closed doors.
Just recently, insiders were talking that the couple were considering taking the next step. Paige reportedly wanted to get married, but Seacrest was reluctant to take the plunge.
“Ryan is notorious for dragging his feet when it comes to settling down, but he and ​Aubrey have definitely discussed having a baby. She would like a wedding first, which has been something Ryan has avoided all his adult life,” the insider explains via Yahoo News.
“Time will tell, but Ryan is turning 50 at the end of the year – he better hurry up,” they said, but it appears Seacrest wasn’t fast enough.
Ryan Seacrest Talks Not Getting Married
It’s not the first relationship Seacrest has been in. The celebrity previously dated Julianne Hough for three years. He then dated Shana Taylor on and off again for eight years before getting with Paige. Seacrest said he once considered proposing to a girlfriend but didn’t.
“I didn’t do it and it was the right move. But I love the idea — and I know you’re going to ask me — of marriage because my parents have been married for 47 years, and so I have this thing — and you’ve been married 21,” Ryan said.
Likewise, Seacrest also loved the idea of eventually having kids of his own one day. “I think having kids at the right time would be great — I have a fantastic family, a very small family. I have a niece, [my sister] Meredith has a daughter. My parents have been married 52 and a half years, so that’s a high bar. So that’s in my head,” he said.
However, it’s clear that won’t be with Paige. For now, the TV and radio host is flying solo after the split. But who knows what the future holds for Seacrest?
