While chatting with TODAY co-hosts Savannah Guthrie and Hoda Kotb on Monday, April 1, Kylie had nothing but praise for Travis and Taylor.
“Ultimately, if Trav is happy, we’re happy,” the NFL star’s sister-in-law declared. “We are always cheering on Uncle Trav. It is such a treat to be able to do that on and off the field.”
Kylie Kelce also described the relationship as being amazing.
When Guthrie asked, “Can you imagine if there had been this much attention on you on your first date with Jason?” Kylie quickly answered, “Oh no! There’s no video evidence of that, and I’m so glad.”
Travis Kelce’s brother Jason and Kylie met in 2014. The couple was matched on Tinder. However, their first date didn’t go as well as expected, with Jason falling asleep 45 minutes after she arrived for the date.
However, Jason quickly apologized for his behavior and asked her to give him another chance. “We had talked up to that point, had very nice banter,” Kylie recalled. “And then the very next day he launched a full apology.”
Travis and Taylor have notably been hanging out a lot more as both are currently on hiatus from football and touring.
A source told Entertainment Tonight the power couple is “soaking up” their downtime together. “They are appreciating the here and now,” the insider pointed out. “And the love they share with each other.”
“When they’re able to just chill out, they love to hang out with their friends and family, travel, see new things together, and enjoy their privacy.”
Kylie Kelce Praised Taylor Swift’s ‘Positive and Exciting’ Effect on NFL
Earlier this year, Kylie Kelce spoke about how Taylor Swift has had a positive and exciting effect on the NFL. Swift was seen cheering on Travis at multiple games during the 2023 season.
“My dad only had two daughters,” Kylie explained to Glamour. “So I was the stand-in for watching football with my dad. I always found it to be the most fun experience, watching with him to cheer on the Eagles. It was the Sunday activity.”
Kylie Kelce then said that seeing young girls getting involved and wanting to sit down and cheer with their dads is amazing. “it’s only something that can be painted in a positive and exciting light,” she said. “It’s just another way to encourage girls to appreciate sport.”
