Supporting her mama on Mother’s Day, Katy Perry and Orlando Bloom’s daughter Daisy made an adorable appearance during this season’s Disney-themed episode of American Idol.
During the live taping of the show on Sunday, May 12, Daisy appeared all smiles while sitting on Bloom’s lap. Much like Perry, the 3-year-old was wearing a Cinderella dress with a bun hairstyle.
Fan quickly took to X (formerly Twitter) to gush about Katy Perry and Orlando Bloom’s little girl. “OMG I’m crying,” one fan declared about their reaction to the Daisy sighting. “They are so cute.”
Another fan said, “OMG Daisy got her mama’s look!!” with emotional and heart emojis.
Daisy made her first public appearance in Nov. 2023 when she watched Katy Perry wrap up her Las Vegas residency, Play, with Orlando Bloom. At that time, she was wearing a Minnie Mouse dress with pink headphones.
Katy Perry gushed on stage about the toddler’s appearance by stating, “Daisy, I love you so much. You’re my best friend. I’m so glad you’re here.”
Daisy was born in Aug 2020. Perry announced her pregnancy through the music video for her single “Never Worn White.”
Daisy is the only child that Perry and Bloom share. Bloom also has a 13-year-old son, Flynn, with ex-wife Miranda Kerr.
Katy Perry Reflects On Her Love for Daisy on Mother’s Day 2024
While celebrating Mother’s Day, Katy Perry took to Instagram to reflect on her love for daughter Daisy.
“Today I told my mother that the day I realized how much she loved me is the day I had my own daughter, Daisy Dove,” Perry wrote. “There is nothing like a Mother’s love… never take it for granted… Happy Mother’s Day to all the mothers and caretakers — any way you come.”
Among the photos featured in the post were the “OG pee stick,” Katy Perry telling Orlando Bloom she was pregnant while he was filming in Prague, and earing Daisy’s heartbeat for the first time.
Last month, Katy Perry said Daisy’s “unconditional love” is inspiring her new era as she transitions away from American Idol.
“What she has given me in my life [is] the unconditional love that I was always searching for,” Perry told E! News. “Yes, that is where I am creating from. Just like wholeness, happiness, and just true full love.”
When asked what the post-Idol era will be like, Perry noted. “You know, I’m not taking a vacation after this. So you better just stay ready.”
