Comedian Katt Williams dropped his latest standup special, Woke Foke, on Netflix on May 4. It was streamed live on the platform – a new element Netflix is experimenting with.
The special quickly set the internet on fire with discourse. Williams cracked jokes about everything from reparations to Hunter Biden, delivering his lines in his trademark style.
This isn’t the first time Williams has broken the internet this year, either. An interview on the Club Shay Shay podcast back in January had the world buzzing after Williams went after many fellow comedians… including Kevin Hart.

Katt Williams Breaks Internet With Latest Stand-Up Special
Thousands of people live-tweeted Williams’ latest special on X (formerly Twitter), sharing their thoughts on his jokes in real-time. As per usual, opinions varied. But everyone had A LOT to say about what was happening on their television screens.
That Katt Williams special was a live table read of Facebook aunties and uncles sharing last year's news cycle.

What you just witnessed is why most comedians don't dare do comedy specials like this live. You don't have the opportunity to fix your jokes and avoid bombing on stage. #KattWilliams pic.twitter.com/x4HeH8qXNZ
