Earlier this year, Kate Middleton, the Princess of Wales, announced that she had been diagnosed with cancer. This came after a mysterious surgery in January that had forced her out of the public eye for several months. Amid her undergoing treatment, one source that there is no pressure for her to resume he royal duties.
“There is no timeline, and there is certainly no hurry. It will be when Catherine feels ready and when she gets the green light from her medical team. But she will 100% be coming back to work, of that there is no question,” the source said.
Kate Middleton to Remain Sidelined For Trooping Rehearsal
That theory will be put to the test sooner rather than later. It is still in the air whether or not Middleton will attend the royal kingdom’s annual Trooping the Colour ceremony on June 15. But she is already confirmed to miss the rehearsal for the event on June 8, Kensington Palace confirmed to people.
“Kate Middleton will not attend the key dress rehearsal for Trooping the Colour in June,” PEOPLE wrote.
“On May 30, Kensington Palace confirmed that the Princess of Wales, 42, will not carry out her usual role of Inspecting Officer at the traditional Colonel’s Review on June 8. Instead, the honor will fall to Lieutenant General James Bucknall, KCB, CBE.”
Meghan Markle Draws Comparisons to Princess Diana
Meghan Markle and Prince Harry traveled to Nigeria earlier this year. And Markle drew comparisons to Prince William and Prince Harry’s mother, Princess Diana. According to one source, Harry took a major issue with the comparisons.
