According to Entertainment Tonight, the Prince and Princess of Wales, along with their three children, took a helicopter from Adelaide Cottage in Windsor to Anmer Hall in Norfolk on Saturday.
During the kids’ Easter school break, the family plans to spend time at their country home, where they will also have the chance to visit King Charles.
Kate Middleton and Prince William will not be attending the Easter services with the rest of the family. Instead, they will spend private time together as Middleton recuperates.
On Friday, Kate revealed her recent cancer diagnosis, stating that she is currently undergoing preventive chemotherapy treatments.
Insiders told the outlet that King Charles plans to join a modest family gathering for Easter service. His doctors recommended minimizing contact with others due to his ongoing cancer treatment.
The type of cancer, undisclosed by Buckingham Palace officials, was detected in February during a routine procedure for an enlarged prostate. Since then, King Charles has been recovering at Sandringham Estate with his wife, Queen Camilla.
This year’s celebrations will significantly differ from the family’s usual array of events, such as the Easter service at St. George’s Chapel in Windsor. According to the source, there is a chance that the family might choose to attend a church service together in Sandringham to observe the holiday.
News of Kate Middleton and Prince William’s Whereabouts Comes Shortly After She Resurfaced
The update comes after Middleton reappeared publicly following winter surgery, sparking conspiracy theories and speculation about her location.
Kensington Palace had initially indicated that she would not resume her royal duties until around Easter. However, the public grew frustrated by the lack of visibility, leading to a proliferation of wild theories.
Concerns heightened when Middleton posted a significantly altered image of herself with her children – Prince George, 10, Princess Charlotte, 8, and Prince Louis, 5 – on British Mother’s Day earlier this month.
Kate Middleton apologized for the edited portrait and reassured the public by being seen shopping with Prince William at a farm stand in Windsor as internet speculation rose.
In a video shared by the Palace, Kate disclosed that although doctors initially believed her condition was non-cancerous, post-operative tests revealed the presence of cancer.
“My medical team therefore advised that I should undergo a course of preventative chemotherapy and I’m now in the early stages of that treatment,” she explained. She then pleaded for privacy as her family dealt with the matter.
