Refusing to hold back his opinion as always, Joe Rogan heavily criticized ABC’s daytime talk show The View.

During a conversation with author Coleman Hughes on the Joe Rogan Show Experience podcast, Rogan spoke about the all-women hosting show.
Hughes recently appeared on the show to discuss his book, The End of Race Politics: Arguments for a Colorblind America.
The discussion about the book turned slightly heated, with co-host Sunny Hostin slamming Hughes’ “argument for colorblindness.” She claimed that many in the Black community would think he was being a “charlatan of sorts” that is being “used as a pawn by the right.”
Further pointing out that he has voted for Democrat politicians in the past, Hughes disagreed with Hostin’s opinion.
“I don’t think there’s any evidence I’ve been co-opted by anyone,” Hughes explained at the time. “And I think that’s an ad-hominem tactic people use to not address, really, the important conversations we’re having here.”
Hughes spoke about his appearance on The View while chatting with Joe Rogan. The podcast host immediately described The View as a show “people love to hate.” He also referred to it as being a “rabies-infested henhouse.”
“I didn’t know who Sunny Hostin was,” Hughes admitted. “I actually still really don’t know.”
Hughes also said that he wasn’t expecting her to “ambush” him and attack his character. “I didn’t expect [the appearance] to go as viral as it did,” he continued. “But I think it arguably went more viral than anything I’ve ever done.”
Joe Rogan then suggested that The View audience on set is paid to be there, which he said is common for the entertainment industry. He further stated that Hostin appears to be intelligent and she is “ideologically captured.”
Rogan then said that the other hosts are “very dull-minded.”
Joe Rogan Says the Key Problem With ‘The View’ is Its ‘Very’ Specific ‘Ideological Bubble’
While continuing to share his thoughts about The View, Joe Rogan dug deeper into what the talk show’s “key issue” is.
“[The show] has a very specific ideological bubble in which [the hosts] operate in,” Rogan explained. “And they always bring on a token conservative woman they yell over her and silence her.”
Joe Rogan used former The View co-host Meghan Mccain as an example of the other co-hosts’ behavior towards conservative women. “They did that to Meghan McCain.”
Hughes went on to add that part of the reason his The View appearance went viral was that he is a rarely seen person who gets a character attack on a big TV platform. He also calmly exposed the attacks as “evidence-free” and then returned to the topic.
