Lopez Cancels Tour Amid Divorce Rumors
It has been a rough past couple of months for Jennifer Lopez. Amid her issues with Affleck she had also been struggling to sell tickets for her upcoming This is Me Tour. It led to her canceling several dates on the tour.
However, things took an even more daunting turn for the worst on May 31. Concert promoter Live Nation announced that Lopez would be canceling her tour to focus on time with her family.
“I am completely heartsick and devastated about letting you down. Please know that I wouldn’t do this if I didn’t feel that it was absolutely necessary,” Lopez said in a statement after canceling the tour.
“I promise I will make it up to you and we will all be together again. I love you all so much. Until next time.”
This is a tough year for artists to compete on the concert scene. Artists such as Taylor Swift, Nicki Minaj, Bad Bunny, and Drake have already begun touring. Other artists, such as Megan Thee Stallion are set to begin touring soon. Fans are also expecting Beyoncé to announce a tour soon after the release of her new album “Cowboy Carter,” on March 29th.
