Maika Monroe has made her relationship with Dalton Gomez Instagram official nearly a year after he finalized his divorce from his ex-wife, Ariana Grande.
The actress shared some pictures featuring Gomez with just a star emoji in the caption. In one of the pictures, she is seen on her tiptoes kissing Gomez while in a crosswalk. In another photo, she is also seen snuggling with him while on a boat.
Maika Monroe and Dalton Gomez were first romantically linked in Oct. 2023, less than a month after the divorce with Grande was finalized. They were seen kissing in mid-February 2024 while on vacation in Los Cabos, Mexico.
“Ariana and Dalton really wanted to take care of each other through all of this,” a source told Page Six previously. “And make it as easy on one another as possible — which is why they really took their time with everything. They have a strong mutual respect for each other.”
The former spouses got married on May 15, 2021, and were together until early 2023. Since their split, Grande has gone on to date her Wicked co-star Ethan Slater.
The couple went official with their relationship after Slater filed for divorce from his former wife and mother of his child Lily Jay. He and Jay had been together since high school and got married in 2018. Their son was born in 2022.
Ariana Grande Paid Dalton Gomez $1.25 Million During Divorce Proceedings
PEOPLE previously reported that through the divorce proceedings, Ariana Grande was ordered to pay her ex Dalton Gomez $1.25 million.
The court documents did confirm that the couple had a prenuptial agreement, didn’t thave children, and had no significant legal disputes amid the separation. This helped make the proceedings move quickly.
Although he received $1.25 million through Grande, Dalton Gomez was not granted spousal support. This is due to his tax-free payment being granted upfront as opposed to over time.
Through the proceedings, it was confirmed that Gomez would also receive half of the net proceeds from the sale of his and Grande’s former Los Angeles home. This is in addition to Grande covering up to $25,000 of his attorney fees.
The official date of separation was listed as Feb. 20, 2023. However, the couple’s separation broke in July 2023.
A source also previously told PEOPLE that the former couple was “taking their time together to slowly work through the details of the agreement privately.”
“They’ve been really caring and respectful of one another through every step of this process,” the source concluded.
