Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce are continuing their very publicized romance into the new year, and the pop singer doesn’t care who knows it. Swift recently changed the lyrics to “Karma” to throw a shout-out to Kelce during a Sydney show.

It was made extra special given the fact that Kelce was in the crowd. The Kansas City Chiefs tight end traveled to Australia alongside his teammate Ross Travis to lend support to Swift.
“Karma” traditionally features the lyrics “Karma is the guy on the screen coming straight home to me.” However, Swift changed them to “Karma is the guy on the Chiefs coming straight home to me.“
Kelce danced alongside the song, clearly loving the shoutout while Swift performed on stage.
Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce Talk Relationship
Swift’s relationship with Kelce seems a bit prophetic in some aspects. In a 2009 interview with Glamour, Swift described what she wanted from a future relationship. She predicted it would be a life on the road.
“It’s always going to be long-distance, even if I date the boy who lives next door to me in Nashville. I’ll be flying to see him and flying him places to see me,” Swift told the outlet. “It feels like it would involve more scheduling, and I already deal with a lot of scheduling in my life. Of course, if I met somebody who was worth it, I would probably stop thinking that way!”
She also described what kind of man she was interested in. Kelce seemed to check a lot of boxes.
“I wouldn’t want to be with a pushover who would let me make all the plans and have all the control,” she continued. “It’s really natural for me to go into planning mode, but I’d rather be with someone who has his own voice and passion and ambition.”
Meanwhile, Kelce gave a lot more recent update on their relationship. Speaking about the past year (via Today), Kelce said it’s been a supportive relationship.
“Hopefully everybody realizes we’re just two people in a relationship supporting each other and having fun with it, man. It’s nothing more than that,” he said. “We just have fun with it. We enjoy every single bit of it. I love it when Taylor comes and supports me and enjoys the game with the fam and friends. But it’s been nothing but just a wonderful year.”
