The fallout of recent allegations made against Sean “Diddy” Combs seems to be manifesting. The former rapper sold off his majority stake in Revolt, the media company he founded.

The announcement came on Tuesday, June 4. Revolt’s CEO, Detavio Samuels, revealed that Combs “agreed to start the process of separation” earlier in the year amid the first few allegations.
Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs No Longer Associated With Revolt
“One hundred percent of Sean Combs’ shares have been redeemed and retired,” Samuels revealed in an interview with the New York Times. “He is no longer chairman. No longer on the board. He has no shares. And no equity in Revolt. We have completely separated and dissociated from each other.”
Combs had initially stepped down as the network’s chairman in November of last year. One representative told PEOPLE that it was a temporary move at the time.
After he stepped down, REVOLT spoke out. They said his decision to step down was a move that would ensure the company stayed “focused” on its “mission.”
“While Mr. Combs has previously had no operational or day-to-day role in the business, this decision helps to ensure that REVOLT remains steadfastly focused on our mission,” the statement reads.
“To create meaningful content for the culture. And amplify the voices of all Black people throughout this county and the diaspora.”
Ex-Makeup Artist Details Diddy’s Violence
Combs has racked up eight civil suits to date, including one from ex-girlfriend Cassie Ventura. In November 2023, the former Bad Boy artist claimed Diddy engaged in human trafficking. He also forced drug use, and rape. Including one incident Cassie says happened in 2018. She alleged Diddy came over to her home after she’d tried to break up with him and forced sex on her.
Cassie and Diddy’s former makeup artist, Mylah Morales, recalled a time when she witnessed the aftermath of one of the bad boy founder’s attacks.
“She was bruised. I mean, badly bruised, like knots on her head, a black eye. All I cared about was to get her to safety, and I took her into my house and kept her there for a few days,” Morales said.
“I literally called my friend, who was a doctor at the time, to treat her because we couldn’t bring her to the hospital. We didn’t know what the hell to do at that point. Who are we going to call?”
