With South Carolina pastor John-Paul Miller continuing to be a key figure in the investigation into the death of his wife, Mica, a video of him having a meltdown in his yard has recently surfaced.
Appearing on the JLR Investigates YouTube account, the video shows John-Paul lying on the ground next to his parked truck. According to JLR Investigates, the photo was originally posted by someone named Tai.
In a bizarre Facebook Post from a man by the name of Ty Longerbeam, he shares a video of Pastor John-Paul Miller having some sort of mental episode.

In the video, John-Paul Miller was approached by someone asking him if he was ok. John-Paul is heard sobbing and talking rambling, at one point mentioning medication.
JLR Investigates was unable to determine if the video was taken before or after Mica Miller’s death on April 27. The news about her death began capturing the public’s attention after John-Paul called her death “self-inflicted” during a sermon the day after her passing.
Mica’s family became suspicious of John-Paul and demanded an investigation to be done. They claimed Mica recently filed for divorce from John-Paul. He had also been accused of doing things to Mica, including slashing the tires on her vehicle and putting trackers on her vehicle.
Authorities later confirmed that Mica Miller had died by suicide. Her body was discovered in water at the Lumber River State Park in North Carolina. However, Mica’s family stated an autopsy was not done and originally John-Paul Miller refused to allow them to see Mica’s body before it was cremated. Eventually, they were able to see Mica before the cremation process.
Mica and John-Paul Miller were married in 2017. Mica originally filed for divorce in Sept. 2023, but the filing was eventually dismissed. Her family said she had filed again right before her death.
John-Paul Miller Recently Denied Ever Grooming Mica, Attorney Says It ‘Couldn’t Be Farther From the Truth’
As more details about John-Paul and Mica Miller’s marriage began to surface, many suspected that John-Paul had groomed Mica. This happened after meeting her when she was just 14. He was nearing the age of 30 at the time.
However, NewsNation reports that through his attorney, Russell Long, John-Paul has denied the grooming allegations and claims that “couldn’t be farther from the truth.”
“She moved to Myrtle Beach at the age of 15, and was married to another man at the age of 18,” Long pointed out. “And divorced at the age of 21.”
Mica Miller’s sister, Sierra Francis, who has continued to be very vocal about the situation, stated she believes John-Paul Miller had groomed Mica. But it was when she was 14 years old.
“I would guess that she probably meant 2010, not ’10’ [years old],” Sierra said. She also noted that Mica had told her the grooming started when she was 14 or 15 years old.
Long went on to say that the authorities’ conclusion to Mica’s death being a self-inflicted gunshot wound should “completely” exonerate John-Paul of any wrongdoing. He also demands that media outlets stop “perpetuating these harmful falsehoods. Any further dissemination of defamatory and libelous statements will be met with legal action.”
Despite Long’s threats, Mica’s family refuses to back down. Regina Ward, Sierra Francis’ attorney, stated the family is contemplating civil action against John-Paul Miller and possibly Solid Rock Church, which he was a pastor of and a de facto owner.
“He went after everything that meant anything to this woman,” Ward explained. “She was brainwashed by this man. He abused her in every possible way that there is.”
