Not the reaction she was hoping for Meghan Markle is getting slammed for sending Kris Jenner “garbage” jam.
The gift to the famous “momager” was to promote Markle’s new lifestyle brand, America Rivera Orchard. Jenner took to her Instagram to share a picture of the jam and thanked the former Suits star.
According to the New York Post, Jenner is one of the 50 people to receive the jam from Meghan Markle. Among the other recipients were Tracee Ellis Ross, Abigail Spencer, and Chrissy Teigen.
However, it didn’t take long for the critics to come after Markle for the jam, as well as the items that came with the gift.
“How embarrassing to send the Kardashian Matriarch a cheap pot with bruised, old lemons, [and] dying plants,” one critic posted on X (formerly Twitter). “You would think Megah would put some effort into sending a gift to Kris.”
Another critic declared, “Meghan Markle could not sink any lower. Nobody decent will have anything to do with her.”
A fellow internet troll declared that Jenner “got her money” to promote Meghan Markle’s “garbage.” “I’m sure she gave it away just as soon as it came.”
Markle announced her new lifestyle earlier this year. PR expert Mayah Riaz told The Mirror the jams are suggested to be an “exclusive and limited edition” item.
“It has already been reported a single jam jar could be three figures,” Riaz explained. “I believe that is entirely likely from what we have seen so far. This is not rare for a celebrity brand.”
Riaz also predicted that the lifestyle brand could make Meghan Markle seven figures in under a year. “It is entirely possible for the brand to make multi-seven figures by the end of next year.”

Sources revealed last fall that Kris Jenner was wanting Markle and Prince Harry to appear on her family’s reality TV show. The dutchess appeared to be happy to hear Jenner’s idea.
“It means a lot to Meghan when she heard about it,” the source shared. And reinforced what she’s felt for a while… that the Kardashians are a very cool family who have been misjudged and mistreated a lot in the media, just like she and Harry have been.”
The reported comment by Jenner was made just after the reality TV star and her daughter Kim Kardashian hung out with Markle’s mother, Doria Ragland, at the LA gala.
