Above all, Stewart believes that the key to feeling positive about oneself lies in confidence and aging gracefully. This encompasses nurturing oneself from within while also treating one’s skin with care and gentleness.
“My feeling about good looks and about good health is that you have to start early — so 50 is a very good time to start!” she recently told People. “I try to live a very healthy life [and] eat extremely well.”
“I take care of myself [and] go to the gym no matter what, four times a week. [It’s important to] take care of my skin very, very well, and everybody can do that. It’s not like I spend a fortune on any of that stuff, but I managed to do it because it’s going to make a difference and I’m going to live longer and healthier.”
However, Martha Stewart isn’t on the anti-aging bandwagon; she’s all about living well to live long. She unsurprisingly gave a shoutout to QVC as the go-to spot for everything from lipstick to leggings, and kale to cleansers—all without breaking the bank. “I really sort of practice what I preach,” Stewart added.
Martha Stewart Recently Got Candid About Cosmetic Procedures She’s Had Over the Years
Meanwhile, Martha Stewart recently set the record straight on all of the cosmetic procedures she has undergone over the years.
In a February episode of The Martha Stewart Podcast on iHeartPodcasts, the self-made billionaire shared details about her cosmetic experiences.
In the episode, Stewart admitted she’s unsure about all the cosmetic procedures she’s had. “I don’t even know what I’ve had,” she quipped to her cosmetic surgeon, podcast guest Dr. Dan Belkin.
Nevertheless, the esteemed doctor was eager to meticulously outline the array of procedures he had conducted on Stewart himself.
“We’ve done a little bit of skin tightening on you,” Belkin detailed. “We’ve done a little ultrasound tightening I think, a long time ago.”
“We did a little softwave, which is an ultrasound-based tightening device. And we’ve done a little bit of Ulthera, which is a great ultrasound-based skin tightening that works.”
“I don’t think a lot about age,” she said at the time. ” I don’t want to look my age at all. And that’s why I really work hard at it.”
