Jennifer Garner is reportedly playing cupid, “encouraging” Ben Affleck to patch things up with Jennifer Lopez amidst divorce rumblings.
“She fully supports their relationship. [She] wants nothing more than for him to be happy,” an alleged insider told Us Weekly Tuesday. Garner was married to Affleck from 2005 to 2018. She’s well aware of how fame can strain a relationship, the insider added.
Jennifer Garner’s support for Ben comes amid reports that Affleck has “come to his senses” regarding his troubled relationship with Lopez. It seems the Phantoms star is certain that they are on the path to Splitsville.
“If there was a way to divorce on grounds of temporary insanity,” an alleged insider told Page Six. “He feels like the last two years was just a fever dream. He’s come to his senses now and understands there is just no way this is going to work.”

That night, the couple seemingly pulled it together as Affleck picked up Lopez and her 16-year-old daughter, Emme, from a play featuring Ben’s 15-year-old, Seraphina. Photos showed Affleck with a serious expression. Reports also indicated that he and Lopez neither kissed nor hugged upon seeing each other.
