The Mistress of the Darkness, whose real name is Cassandra Peterson, didn’t have any kind words to describe the Wicked actress during a horror-themed event at Knott’s Scary Farm in Buena Park, California.
“She came and she brought 20 guests — she wanted 20, 21 tickets,” Elvira said about Ariana Grande, who allegedly requested tickets to one of her shows. “And we give her the tickets.”

Before the performance, Elvira met Grande and her friends backstage. “She asked if I can take pictures with all of her friends and relatives she brought,” Elvira continued. “I take a picture with every single one of them. I sign autographs for every single one of them.
However, when she asked the former Nickelodeon star for a photo, the singer stated, “Nah, I don’t really do that.”
Elvira also claimed that Ariana Grande left before the performance even started. “All her relatives stayed … and she took off. OK? Right? Just sayin,’” Elvira recalled as the audience started booing.
“She’s playing the wrong witch,” one person on stage declared, causing the audience to laugh and cheer.
Ariana Grande Takes to Social Media to Respond to Elvira
After the video of the event went viral, Ariana Grande took to Instagram to speak out about the claims made by Elvira.
“I’m so disheartened to see this,” Grande stated in the comment section of Elvira’s post about the interaction. “I actually don’t even remember getting the chance to meet you because I had an anxiety attack and to my memory, left before the rest of my family (this was around 7 years ago and at the time i was really not great with being in public crowds or loud places). but if i’m misremembering this moment, i sincerely apologize for offending you so.”
Ariana Grande continued to address Elvira by stating, “Thank you for being so nice to my mom, she told me how lovely you were (she might have different feelings about that now but i’ll talk to her… clearly, we all have our days!). Sending love always.”
She then added, “You’ll always be our queen of halloween!”
Elvia hasn’t had a chance to respond to Ariana Grande’s comment. Meanwhile, social media erupted, calling Grande out for her alleged actions.
“I find it humorous people are trying to defend Ari,” one Instagram user stated. “Honey this is Elvira, this woman has been hustling for decades without any scandal. Elvira wouldn’t make a story up just for clout. A she doesn’t need it and B she really doesn’t care.”
Another Instagram user came to Grande’s defense about the ordeal. “I love both of you but I feel like basing your content on tearing down another woman in the industry just because she’s got a movie coming out and you had a bad experience years ago (when children had just been KILLED at her concert and she was staying out of the public eye) is in bad taste. What happened to women supporting women?”
