Proving she still can’t be tamed, Miley Cyrus caused some jaws to drop by wearing barely there dress at the 2024 Grammy Awards.
While making her way to the big music event, Miley Cyrus turned heads by donning a gold metal Maison Margiela mesh dress with a safety pin accent. The ensemble also included matching metal panties and Christian Louboutin for Maison Margiela gold heels. She also had matching Tiffany & Co. jewelry.
According to E! News, this was the first red-carpet appearance Cyrus has had in nearly a year.
Not long after she made an appearance on the Grammys red carpet, Cyrus began trending on X (formerly Twitter).
X users were quick to praise and criticize the Flowers songstress. “The combination of elegance and edginess is unmatched,” one X user wrote.
Another X user admittedly wrote, “Not a fan of the dress or the hairstyle.”
Other X users couldn’t help but point out Miley Cyrus resembles Jane Fonda. “This is reminding me of Jane Fonda looks,” a user declared. Meanwhile, an X user was focused on how Cyrus continues to reinvent herself. “The constant reinvention should be studied.”
Miley Cyrus has been nominated for seven 2024 Grammy awards. Among the nominations are Record of the Year (Flowers), Album of the Year (Endless Summer Vacation), Song of the Year (Flowers), and Best Pop Solo Performance (Flowers).
Although she has earned eight Grammy nominations, Miley Cyrus hasn’t been dubbed a winner yet.
