Travis Kelce’s ex, Kayla Nicole, is facing social media backlash after she made a “petty” move following the Kansas City Chiefs’ Super Bowl LIX loss. Just after the Philadelphia Eagles beat the Chiefs 40-22, the sports journalist was spotted on the field chatting with the team’s head coach, Nick Sirianni, and took videos of herself throwing green confetti in the air.

“I feel bad for her. She is too fine to be this petty,” one NFL fan wrote on X, formerly Twitter. “It’s way past time for him to get over this man. She had her crown, and now she threw it away being silly.”
Another NFL fan declared, “What a loser. Her. She’s the loser.”
Other X users were seemingly done with Travis Kelce’s ex being the center of attention. “If Kelce retires can yall promise to never put this woman on a screen ever again?” a critic asked. “She’s two podcast appearances from having to legally change her name to ‘Travis Kelce’s Ex.’”
Travis Kelce’s Ex Reflects On Her Time At Super Bowl LIX
Days after the Philadelphia Eagles won Super Bowl LIX, Kayla Nicole took to her Instagram to reflect on the experience.
“What makes the Super Bowl so special?” Nicole asked in the lengthy post. “Beyond it being the ultimate showcase of the two most elite and talented teams in the sport, the enneerrgyyy is literally palpable. The collective excitement of fans and the high stakes of the match up create an atmosphere that makes you physically feel the pulse of the game.”
Nicole then stated that there were no bad seats in the stadium because every attendee was “hyped” to have a seat at “a table in history.”
“The lights are brighter and you find yourself hanging on to every second, every inch!” she further shared. “It’s for good reason one of the biggest stages in sports, especially when the clock strikes half time. We often minimize the humanity of the game by focusing on teams/titles/wins/losses.”
“Obviously football is a team sport where winning is always the goal,” she also noted. “But I’ve always been more enthralled by the individual storylines. The names on the back of those jerseys, the hurdles they’ve had to overcome, and the pride they must all feel to be talented enough to even make it to a stage like this one.”
Nicole then added that every player on the field is on a “relentless pursuit of greatness.” She thought it was “pretty freaking dope” she was able to witness it.
“Simply put, as a fan of the game, with a soft spot for a cold beer and a clear view of the red zone,” she added. “I can only hope my career allows me to continue to partake in sports history for many more bowls to come.”
