In her most recent album, The Tortured Poets Department (TTPD), Taylor wrote a few songs about her current boyfriend, Travis. One of those tracks is thought to be “So High School.”
“I feel so high school every time I look at you / I wanna find you in a crowd just to hide from you,” the lyrics go.
At her concert, Taylor transitioned from singing “But Daddy I Love Him” to “So High School” in a seamless and adorable manner. As the first song came to an end, stadium lights appeared on the big screen behind Taylor.
She then walks/dances her way over to what appears to be bleachers. As she sits down to sing, Taylor kicks her feet and laughs with her “friends” (or dancers), reenacting footage that fans and others have captured of her at Travis’s games.
She and her background dancers also performed the Kansas City Chief’s celebratory dance, as well as Travis’s signature moves. The stage used red and yellow lights, which are the football team’s colors, to highlight the show.

Fans went wild during Taylor’s performance of “So High School,” which is thought to be a homage to her boyfriend, Travis. On the TikTok video linked above, one person commented: “Travis went from attending the Eras concert to being referenced in it and I can’t handle it!”
“So it’s official,” another fan commented. “The ending of ‘But Daddy I Love Him’ is about Travis.
“YUP!” the original poster replied.
The end of the song, ‘But Daddy I Love Him,’ goes as follows:
“Now I’m dancing in my dress in the sun and / Even my daddy just loves him / I’m his lady, and oh my God / You should see your faces / Time, doesn’t it give some perspective / No, you can’t come to the wedding / I know he’s crazy but he’s the one I want.”
The two lovebirds have been dating since autumn 2023. It seems as though they’re still going strong!
