To most people, Paris Hilton is known for being a reality star and heir to the Hilton Hotel empire. But these days she is focused a being a mom. She and her husband, Carter Reum, welcomed a second child into their family last year. The reality star revealed the news on her podcast I Am Paris.
“After many months, Carter [Reum] and I finally introduced our baby girl London to the world. London was born on 11/11 last year, and we’ve enjoyed the special time together, just the four of us,” she said,” Hilton said.
Paris Hilton Reveals the Meaning Behind London’s Middle Name
Hilton’s daughter’s full name is London Marilyn Hilton. She says the origin of London’s middle name is to honor her late grandmother.
“I wanted to honor my grandmother, Marilyn. I think it’s such a beautiful name.”
She also notes that her 1-year-old son Phoenix’s name is an homage to her late grandfather.
“Phoenix, his middle name is Barron, which is my grandfather’s name. And it was just an honor of both of them, and I love them so much,” she added.
As for the origin of London’s first name, Hilton says she chose it because it is one of her “favorite cities.”
“I chose London as her name because it’s one of my favorite cities in the world. And ever since I was a little girl, I just always dreamed of having a little daughter named London,” she said.
“I think it also sounds so cute together, Paris and London, and it’s just such a beautiful and unique name.”
Hilton Describes Significance Behind 11/11
Hilton also explained the significance of London’s birthday, November 11th. Noting that it is the same day she and her husband wed. And that it is also the meaning of her media company 11/11/
“Obviously, as you all know, 11/11 is such an important date to me, [an] important time. Carter and I were married on 11/11. My media company is named 11:11 Media. I make a wish every single day at 11:11. So for my daughter to be born on that date was just magical and so special,” she said.
“So perfect birthday for my little princess.”
