Ozzy Osbourne is not dying. A webloid claiming the rocker is on his deathbed is wrong. Gossip Cop can bust the story.
At the dawn of the new decade, a tired old claim by a familiar tabloid emerged. RadarOnline is falsely reporting that the Prince of Darkness is “bedridden in agonizing pain and losing his marbles.” The unreliable website quotes a so-called “insider” as saying, “Ozzy is in chronic pain and begging to be put out of his misery! He’s in such bad shape that he didn’t even notice Sharon wasn’t there.” Osbourne’s wife spent the holiday in England, while Ozzy stayed in Los Angeles.
The blog goes on to describe the difficult year Osbourne had in 2019 with a number of health situations, including a brief hospitalization for the flu and a fall at his home that forced him to postpone a European tour. According to the phony report, these incidents left Osbourne bedridden in constant pain and unable to recognize his wife of almost 40 years.
The legendary rocker certainly knew where he was a little over a week ago when he posted a photo on his official Instagram account of his daughter Kelly and his longtime friend, guitarist Billy Morrison. Osbourne also looked fine when he posted a picture of him attacking Santa Claus on Christmas in true metal fashion. A day after the bogus story was published, Kelly took to her own Instagram account and firmly disputed the claim.
“Today I had a wonderful start to 2020. I went out with my family. Then spent the rest of the laughing and hanging out with my dad,” Kelly wrote, continuing, “I come home to read sickening articles about my supposedly being on his ‘death bed’ sometimes the media makes me sick!!!” She concluded with a very clear statement about her father’s health status. “It’s no secret that my dad has had a rough year when it comes to his health, but come the [expletive] on this is utter [expletive].” It’s obvious there is no truth to this website’s claim.
It’s also not the first time in recent months RadarOnline has wrongly predicted Osbourne’s demise. This past October, the outlet posted a story that the former Black Sabbath singer was on the verge of death. Much like this latest article, it also focused on his rough year. The blog alleged that a “pal” said, “He’s had a whole host of health woes, and it looks like the ‘Crazy Train’ may have reached the end of the line.” Gossip Cop busted that story as well. A month later, Osbourne performed at the America Music Awards with Post Malone and Travis Scott. Thankfully, the metal legend is still very much alive and kicking and will be for a while.
Gossip Cop has determined this story is totally false.
