Victoria's Secret has just made a huge new change to their line up.

They have just introduced their first transgender model.

Meet Brazilian model, Valentina Sampaio!

This hire has taken a long time to arrive after the company’s Chief Marketing Officer, Ed Razek, was under fire last year after the Victoria's Secret fashion show for the comments he made regarding including trans models in the show and the brand.

After the show, when asked if he should include trans models, he was quoted saying, “No. No, I don’t think we should." Well, why not? "Because the show is a fantasy.”

This did not sit well with models like Karlie Kloss, who recently left the brand. She said, “The reason I decided to stop working with Victoria’s Secret was I didn’t feel it was an image that was truly reflective of who I am and the kind of message I want to send to young women around the world about what it means to be beautiful."

This, among other reasons, then led Ed Razek to distance himself from the brand.

Interesting timing. Could it be because of his comments?
