Less than a month after her and Cash Warren’s separation was revealed, Jessica Alba officially filed for divorce. The couple, who have been married for nearly two decades, are calling it quits without a prenup, TMZ reported.

Shortly after Jessica Alba filed with celebrity attorney Laura Wasser, Cash Warren filed his own documents with his lawyer, Adam Lipsic. His divorce documents allegedly “mirror” the actress’.
Sources close to the soon-to-be exes told the media outlet that the divorce is “extremely amicable.” Each is asking for joint physical and legal custody of their three children, daughters Honor and Haven and son Hayes.
Alba and Warren listed the date of separation as Dec. 27.
Jessica Alba Recently Spoke Out About Her Split from Cash Warren
Shortly after the separation was announced, Alba took her Instagram to speak out about the situation.
“I’ve been on a journey of self realization and transformation for years – both as an individual and in partnership with Cash,” she wrote. “I’m proud of how we’ve grown in our marriage over the last 20 years, and it’s now time for us to embark on a new chapter of growth and evolution as individuals.”
“We are moving forward with love, kindness, and respect for each other and will forever be family,” Alba added. “Our children remain our highest priority, and we request privacy at this time.”
Alba and Warren first met on the set of Fantastic Four in 2004. Warren, who is the son of actor Michael Warren, was working on the film as the director’s assistant. They married in 2008.
