Mila Kunis recently dyed her hair blonde, and according to a tabloid, she changed her look to prevent Ashton Kutcher from cheating. The story is absurdly untrue. Gossip Cop can debunk it.
“Mila Goes Blonde To Save Marriage!” reads a headline in the latest issue of the National Enquirer. According to the outlet, some of the revelations in Demi Moore’s new memoir – including claims that Kutcher was unfaithful during their marriage – has Kunis fearing her husband will stray.
A so-called “source” tells the magazine, “The charges left Mila feeling insecure. Demi’s comments have brought her insecurities about all the difficulties Mila and Ashton have had in their own marriage back to the surface.” The actress was recently spotted sporting blonde hair, and the alleged insider says it’s because she “felt she needed to give her image a boost. She thought the blonde locks would give her a new look that would lock Ashton’s attention on her, where it should be.”
It should be noted, Kunis’ hair is actually dyed both blonde and blue. For whatever reason, the outlet doesn’t bother to mention the actress’s teal tips. Perhaps the blue doesn’t fit with this bogus narrative? Regardless, Gossip Cop can confirm that nothing about the magazine’s report is remotely accurate. We checked in with a source close to the actress, who tells us Kunis dyed her hair for her role in the upcoming movie Four Good Days, in which she plays a woman battling substance abuse.
The Enquirer simply saw the pictures of Kunis’ new look and decided to arbitrarily connect it to Moore’s new book. One has nothing to do with the other, and the actress isn’t worried about her husband cheating. People magazine, a much more reliable source for celebrity news, recently reported that Kunis and Kutcher are “very much in love,” and his ex-wife’s book “didn’t do anything to shake their strong bond.” The reputable outlet further stressed, “Nothing came out in this book that Mila did not already know.”
Unfortunately, the Enquirer has spent a lot of time trying to break up the happy spouses. In July, Gossip Cop busted the outlet for falsely claiming Kunis was “starving herself” amid marriage problems with Kutcher. In March, we called out the publication for alleging Kunis warned Kutcher to “grow up” or she’d divorce him. The tabloid enjoys coming up with different reasons for why the couple is supposedly splitting. Moore’s book and Kunis’ new hairdo are just the latest circumstances being baselessly exploited.
Gossip Cop has determined this story is totally false.
