If you're looking for a unique birthday gift, or you just have piles of money and no idea what to do with it, why not immortalize the words of your group chat in a book? According to Bookstr, the latest app to hit the market (Keepster) allows you to not only save your text messages, but you can also compile your texts into a gorgeous hardcover coffee table book. Want to relive 2020 every time you open up your custom made book? Well neither do I, but there are probably some gems in your messages app to enjoy.
This program is surprisingly legit. Once you save all of your text messages through the app, you're able to design a cover, chose your font, and even select the type of binding for your book. You can collect up to 800 pages worth of text messages. That's longer than most of the Harry Potter books! You can organize messages by person, by date, or even subject matter. Take a look at some of the images from Keepster's website below. Be honest, how would you feel if you saw someone's bookshelf and they only had bound versions of their text messages and nothing else?
So what do you think about this readers? Would you buy this as a souvenir for a loved one, or does this seem way too silly? Would you add old text messages to your 'to read' list? The service is surprisingly cheap to print a single copy, but if you're trying to write the next great american novel via text messages, then it would definitely cost a whole lot more to get copies into people's hands. Let us know in the comments! You can find more about this unique service at Keepster's website.
