A story that claims Hailey Baldwin caught Justin Bieber texting Selena Gomez is not true. Gossip Cop can exclusively correct this made-up report. We’re told by Bieber’s camp it’s completely false.
RadarOnline, which has a spotty record when it comes to Bieber, alleges Baldwin “exploded” when she supposedly found texts from Gomez on her husband’s phone. To make its tale seem believable, the habitually debunked website contends it has a “source close to Gomez” who insists, “Justin is constantly talking about Selena,” and its driven Baldwin to her “boiling point.” Actually, Gossip Cop is going to stop right here and point out how fake the article is. If the so-called “insider” is “close to Gomez,” how does that person know how often or not Bieber brings his ex-girlfriend up in conversation and what his wife’s reaction is to it?
Now that we’ve established the blog is sloppily lying from the start, let’s examine the rest of this phony report. Having remembered its supposed tipster is from her side, the anonymous and almost assuredly fabricated “insider” asserts Gomez thinks it’s “hilarious,” because she knows “Justin will always love her” and Baldwin is “disposable.” Actually, what’s 100 percent disposable like trash is the outlet’s concocted article.
Glaringly missing is any shred of evidence or proof to substantiate the blog’s premise. For instance, when did Baldwin find the texts between Gomez and Baldwin? The site has no answer. And when or where did the model explode? The outlet makes no mention of that either. And how did Bieber or Gomez supposedly react to Baldwin being upset? RadarOnline has no clue about that as well.
And the reason the site doesn’t know any of these crucial details is because the blog or its unnamed “source” appear to have manufactured the entire tale. As opposed to the outlet, which hinges its article on an untraceable and unidentifiable tipster, Bieber’s rep has gone on the record to shoot down the claim. The singer’s spokesperson exclusively tells Gossip Cop the story is completely untrue.
We’re not entirely surprised it’s wrong, considering how frequently we’ve corrected the outlet for its bogus stories. Earlier this year, Gossip Cop busted the blog for it wholly fictitious tale about how Bieber tried to run into Gomez while hiking. Before that, we exposed the site for untruthfully maintaining last summer that Bieber proposed to Baldwin as revenge for Gomez dating Caleb Stevens. Of course, among the many problems with that report was that Gomez never dated her friend Raquelle Stevens’ brother Caleb, which a real “source close to Selena” would have known.
Places have tried to create various angles to this this nonexistent love triangle. But Bieber himself even shot down the make-believe narrative two months ago. After someone insinuated the singer only married his wife to “get back” at his ex, Bieber responded on Instagram that while Gomez will “always hold a place in my heart,” he’s absolutely “head over heels in love” with Baldwin, and that she was “the BEST THING” that ever happened to him.
Additionally, just a month ago Bieber called Baldwin on Instagram, “my one true SOULMATE.” Naturally, the Inquisitr, the International Business Times, and a slew of other sites picked up the inaccurate claim about Baldwin having caught Bieber texting Gomez without bothering to fact-check it, but a lie repeated is still nothing more than a lie.
Gossip Cop has determined this story is totally false.
