The Cannibal Women in the Avocado Jungle of Death actress took to Instagram on Wednesday to let her fans know she’d gotten a bit of an upgrade: two new hips.
“I decided to do both hips at once because I’m more afraid of intravenous needles than I am of the actual surgery!” the 69-year-old former Playboy model wrote alongside an X-ray image of the aftermath of the medical procedure.
The Canadian actress, model, and reality TV personality also added the captions “Ouch” and “Yippee” strategically over the image.
Of course, fans of the Steele Justice star, who married veteran rocker Simmons back in 2011, took to the comments section to wish Tweed well.
“Ouchee!! Wishing you a fairly pain-free and speedy recovery,” one top comment read. “Good Luck! You will feel great once you recover. Pain-free, you’ll be able to do anything!” another fan wrote.
“They wouldn’t do mine at the same time. I had to wait 3 months to get the second one done. Hope you heal up fast!” a third fan chimed in.

Tweed’s kids alum jumped into the comments…
“The six million dollar mom,” Tweed’s son and fellow Gene Simmons Family Jewels alum Nick Simmons also added, referencing the classic ABC show The Six Million Dollar Man. Meanwhile, daughter Sophie Simmons added several clapping emojis.
Indeed, Tweed will have to take it easy for a bit. According to the Cleveland Clinic, the recovery time for a hip replacement can take up to 12 weeks. That means no headbanging… for a while.
