An alleged law enforcement source informed Saving Country Music that one charge involves fentanyl or a drug laced with it. One of the arrest records for Usrey states “POSS CS PG 1/1-B >=4G<200G”. The “1-B” penalty group was created specifically to address the increase in overdose deaths from fentanyl.

Tanner Usrey has posted bond and been released from custody. During an initial hearing on March 30th, Collin County Magistrate Lisa Bronchett set his bond conditions and ordered an ignition interlock device for his vehicle. Usrey is now awaiting his next court date.
