Chris Pratt then sang his own version of George Michael’s Careless Whisper while speaking about his decision to spend all the time. “I was like, ‘I’m never gonna wait again. F— you, b—, I’m leaving,” he sang. “And about two months later, I was like, “Where’d that money go?!’”
Pratt went on to reveal that he spent the money on a vacation, which consisted of visiting different parts of the world. “I was like, ‘Well, I’m gonna probably invest. I’m probably gonna get a yacht.’”
The actor further admitted that he was never taught. financial literacy when he was younger. Therefore, he didn’t know how to handle or manage money.
“It took a good amount of time for me to kind of stop and say, ‘All right, I gotta get wise about this. I have to think about, ‘What am I gonna do? How am I gonna get to the point to where if I stop working one day, I’ll still be okay? My family will be okay,'” Pratt shared.
He then added that creating a financial plan was “one of the steps” to growing up.
Chris Pratt Recently Reveals Differences Between Raising His Daughters and His Son
While chatting with E! News earlier this month, Chris Pratt opened up about the differences between raising his daughters, Lyla and Eloise, and son, Jack.
The actor shares his daughters with his wife Katherine Schwarzenegger Pratt. He and his ex-wife Anna Faris share Jack.
“I hate to make generalizations based on gender but, in my experience, girls are more emotional,” Pratt explained. “They’ve got me wrapped around their finger. It’s wild.”
Chris Pratt further pointed out that all three of his children are “cuddly and snuggly,” but his daughters often require a “softer” touch.
“[They] don’t like to rough house as much,” he observed. “I’ll hit them with a pillow and they’ll go, ‘Daddy, that hurt my feelings.’ They like to hear stories more than they like to wrestle.”
However, the biggest difference Pratt sees with the children is the amount of planning in their day-to-day lives. “But even the differences between my two daughters just goes to show that every child is a little bit different,” he noted.
